A wonderful workshop to delve into our inner strength and to reflect the meaning of life. The drawing depicts my inner thoughts and I hope to be the guiding light in what is right to do, to nurture myself and hopefully others too. Indeed, an effective tool to identify, face and address issues or concerns in our lives. Sincerely, I need to 'duo yong xin'.
The origin of stress is within ourself and we have to always remind ourself of what expectation and by knowing that we can practice our daily life with more promising ways and that is compassion. It is not easy especially we have live for a certain time and the environment had created us to have a survivor skill around the society, we have to change, not only mind set but clear of what we are doing in our daily life and practice it continuously. Have learn a new set of motivating words after attending the Stress Management Course that is 5C: Compassion, Communication, Coordination, Cooperation, Continuous.
Art Therapy is a good reflection of oneself. I highly recommend it to everyone to understand themselves better. Throughout this Art Therapy session, I have learnt that happiness or frustration starts from myself. Happiness implants positive energy within myself and this energy will influence our surroundings. Problems will be minimised, anger will be cooled off, misunderstandings will be at better peace and darkness will be enlightened. Why waste our energy and time worrying unnecessary problems? It's better to train our positive energy and spread happiness but not stress.
Most importantly, I found back my DREAMS during this Art Therapy session. I need to strengthen my confidence and determination to help myself. Then, only I can help others better. Plus, always practise knowledge and skills we learnt. Sharing will make this world a better place for all! Thank you, Teacher Bee and other therapy practitioner for a wonderful session.
